The Alabama Agricultural and Conservation Development Commission funds the Alabama Agricultural Conservation Development Commission Program (AACDCP). The Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) administers the program each year. This program provides incentives to farmers and/or landowners in Madison County for implementing approved conservation practices. Eligible participants can receive a 60% cost share incentive. The Madison County SWCD evaluates current needs and priorities in Madison County and implements ranking criteria accordingly each year.
