Bay Area Barns and Trails (BABTT) assists landowners with preservation and maintenance of publicly accessible barns, stables, pastures, staging areas, horse camps, and trails throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma Counties.

Bay Area Barns and Trails was incorporated as a California non-profit corporation in November 1999 and in March 2004 was confirmed by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity.

Since 1999 BABTT has donated $157,000 to land managing agencies, land trusts and equestrian organizations for land, trail and barn acquisition, restoration, construction, education, and capacity building.
