Cross Timbers Native Plants - Native Plant Society of Texasupdated: November 2014

Cross Timbers Native Plants promotes conservation, research and utilization of the native plants in the rich biological region west of Fort Worth.

In addition to our monthly educational programs, we sponsor native plant sales, plant rescues, field trips to areas of interest and classes on a variety of subjects such as plant identification and propagation.

We meet at Cherry Park in Weatherford. Our regular monthly meetings are on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm with a social time and club announcements followed by an educational program at about 7:00 pm. We do not meet in the months of December or July. All of our meetings are free and open to the public.
