David M. Kallin

David Kallin is a member of the firm’s Trial Services, Business Services and Public Sector Groups.   Among other areas, he practices in land conservation, land use, environmental, and municipal law. While in law school, David served as co-chair of the Environmental Law Society and Articles Editor of the Maine Law Review. He worked as a research fellow for the Marine Law Institute and as an extern in the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s enforcement division. David received the 2008 Shur-Frinsko Award for work in municipal law and local governance, and the faculty award for highest grade point average in his graduating class. David was a biological oceanographer prior to attending law school, and brings the problem-solving skills from this quantitative and scientific background to his practice of law.
