Fairfield Land Preservation Association

the protection of natural features and working farmland for the benefit of present and future generations of Fairfield County through acceptance or purchase of conservation easements.

The Fairfield Land Preservation Association promotes preservation of family lands including natural features, green spaces and working farmland as well as supporting research and education that fosters appreciation of the natural, historical and cultural features of greater Fairfield County.

The FLPA was formed by a group of concerned individuals from the Fairfield County area.  These volunteers came together in order to offer options to land owners who want to leave a legacy of protection and stewardship for future generations.

Fairfield county is blessed with an abundance of prime farmland and natural ecological wonders.  As development expands throughout the county, these economically vital areas are becoming more threatened year after year.
