Our mission: To protect, conserve and enhance Georgia’s soil and water resources through the promotion of conservation best management practices.

The Georgia Association of Conservation District Supervisors, a nonprofit organization founded in 1943, is dedicated to the protection and conservation of our state's natural resources. Our 370 members volunteer their time and resources in each of Georgia's 40 soil and water conservation districts to promote conservation. GACDS' goals include educating citizens about the importance of conservation, promoting new and innovative conservation practices, and informing policy makers on natural resource issues.
