Golson Architecture, ACP
Mission Statement: We give each client a personal solution which is creative, unique, and efficient, and maintain professionalism in all phases of our services.

This commitment is reinforced by:

•As Principal Architect, I have over 30 years of Experience.
•American Institute of Architects membership on the local, state, and national level, which provides guidelines and resources for professionalism, ethical conduct, continuing education, and technical advancements.
•U.S. Green Building Council membership, which works to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy spaces to live and work.
•Continuing Education every year.  As principal architect, I exceed by a wide margin in the number of continuing education hours required by the Louisiana (and other states) Licensing Board.
•As Principal Architect, I am a LEED Accredited professional capable of guiding your project to a LEED Basic, Silver, Gold or Platinum level of certification.
•We are licensed to practice Architecture in 13 states, including most of the Gulf Coast and East Coast.

I would like to emphasize firm commitment to green architecture.  This is much more than "environmentally friendly" design.   It is first and foremost a "people friendly" design philosophy.  It looks to the health of the occupants through indoor air quality, reduced levels of toxins and molds through material selections and weather proofing details, and natural day lighting where possible, which not only saves energy, but enhances the ability to learn and work.
