Grafton Land Trust

The Grafton Land Trust, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining open space in Grafton, Mass. Although we are not part of town government, our lands are open for public passive recreation, and membership is open to all individuals who share our goals.

We work in partnership with private landowners, town government, and other regional and national conservation organizations to conserve land through donation, purchase, or conservation restriction, and maintain hundreds of acres of land in Grafton for public enjoyment and conservation.

In addition to our land preservation activities, we have an active education and recreation program, consisting of an annual calendar of events which include nature walks, hikes, canoe trips, family events, naturalist talks, and many other outdoor and indoor activities. We also sponsor an annual series of teachers’ grants to support nature education programs in local schools.

You are invited to join with us to preserve the areas of natural beauty that characterize our town, and to enjoy the many activities hosted by the GLT.
