Established in 2004, Holden Land Trust is a not for profit, member driven organization committed to the conservation of our natural resources, as well as our significant historical and scenic landscapes.     

Through educational programs, regional partnerships and membership opportunities, the Trust is committed to the creation of a multi-use public recreational corridor in Penobscot County, and to the preservation of our rural areas and open spaces.

OUR MISSION

The Holden Land Trust is committed to the identification and preservation of wildlife habitat, scenic vistas, agricultural lands, wetland access and working forests integral to the rural character of Holden, for the benefit of current and future generations.

OUR VISION

Looking at Holden today, the Holden Land Trust is looking forward to preserving a wealth of natural resources, significant historical and scenic landscapes, and abundance of wildlife habitat for tomorrow and for future generations.
