Inland Orange Conservancyupdated: July 2013

Welcome to the Inland Orange – a grass-roots, community-based venture to save local groves by simply eating local oranges.

IOC Citrus Supporters will receive their “Share of the Crop” tokens and a directory of pick-up locations at the beginning of the season (also available on our website here, or in a 205 KB PDF).

Can’t eat oranges? Join anyway and redirect your “Share of the Crop” to the needy or to a friend!  And never worry about not being able to eat your full “Share” – what you don’t pick up goes straight to homeless shelters and the needy.

Seasons usually last around 14 weeks. Please remember the Citrus Supporters shares the farmers’ risk – if there’s a catastrophic freeze and the crop is lost, so is the Supporter’s share (but IOC will pay the grower anyway, because the whole point is to Save Groves)! Your membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Complete the Citrus Supporter Form (PDF 160 KB) and mail it with a check or money order made out to "Inland Orange Conservancy", to the address listed below.
Shares are:

  • $85 for Navel Orange season (mid-January through mid-April)
  • $85 for Summer Valencia/Grapefruit season (late May through the end of August)
  • $85 for Late Valencia/Grapefruit season (September through November)
