James M. Graves
Mr. Graves maintains a legal practice which includes litigation in a wide range of business and commercial disputes, and he acts as corporate counsel, advising clients on day to day and long term strategic business issues and transactions in the areas of agricultural, environmental, and business law, as well as complex civil litigation spanning a broad range of issues. Mr. Graves also advises clients on business issues, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, transactional matters, employment disputes, contracts and settlement negotiations both pre and post-trial.

He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1992 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. In 1995, Mr. Graves received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law, summa cum laude, and served as an associate editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Mr. Graves is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association, where he served as a member of the House of Delegates. Mr. Graves also served on the Fayetteville, Arkansas Planning Commission from 2003-2009 and advises clients on planning, zoning and development matters. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Arkansas, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the Northern District of Oklahoma, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Graves is rated in Martindale-Hubbell as an AV rated attorney.
