He founded the company as a means of fusing his lifelong professional goals with his personal commitments to his family and local community.

Jef is firmly and passionately committed to sustainability, thoughtful urban planning, and green building. As such, he is certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, LEED ™ AP and a Certified Build it Green Professional, CBGP. Since 1989, he has also focused this passion in his local community as a former Mayor of the City of Burbank, a member of its City Council and Planning Board, and as a member of countless other local boards and committees.
