Kinnickinnic River Land Trust

The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust (KRLT) is a 501(c)3 local land trust dedicated to preserving the natural resources and scenic beauty of the Kinnickinnic River watershed in western Wisconsin, near metropolitan Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Based in River Falls, Wisconsin, we work in cooperation with landowners, private organizations, and governmental units to conserve the resources we value - clean water, wildlife, recreation, natural areas, wild trout, scenic beauty, and family farms.

What We Do

O ur challenge is to maintain the quality of the Kinnickinnic River as the population of River Falls and the surrounding townships grows. The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust protects land in ways that no other organization can. It works cooperatively with landowners and the community to protect the resources that we all value: clean water, wildlife, family recreation, natural areas, wild trout, and farms.
