Ms. Finnegan is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in probate, estate planning and trust law.  With a background in general civil practice, Ms. Finnegan specializes in all aspects of estate, trust and elder law litigation.  In addition, Ms. Finnegan has an extensive conservatorship practice. Ms. Finnegan holds the highest rating, "AV", from Martinedale-Hubbell.

Ms. Finnegan is able to provide experienced representation in matters litigated in both the civil and probate arenas.  In addition, she counsels personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries on avoiding litigation, and crafts global resolutions for complex estate and trust disputes through creative negotiation and mediation.

Community Service Activities
Ms. Finnegan has performed community service with schools and non-profit agencies in San Francisco and Monterey Counties. She served on the Iyengar Institute Board of Directors for five years.  She has served as PTO Past-President of San Carlos School in Monterey and as Treasurer for the Monterey County Bar Association.

Before moving to Monterey County and joining Noland Hamerly, Ms. Finnegan practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area for 13 years.  She is a frequent speaker on the topics of estate and trust litigation, and elder abuse.
