Mrs. Martinez, formerly Ms. Leticia Sanchez, is a locally grown attorney, having attending elementary school at Palo Verde School and a 1994 graduate of Tulare Western High School. Due to her excellent academic credentials she obtained in full scholarship to the University of California, Davis, graduating in 1998, with high honors. After interning for the Department of Justice, Corrections Program Office in Washington, D.C. and working as a Public Defender Interviewer for the Tulare County Public Defender’s Office, Mrs. Martinez’s high academic marks landed her a slot at one of the top 20 law schools, University of California, Hastings College of Law. Mrs. Martinez graduated from Hastings in 2002 with academic distinction in oral advocacy and top-notch civil litigation training. While at Hastings she interned for various federal court judges while simultaneously working on the Hastings Law Journal, as Managing Editor.
After graduating law school in 2002, Mrs. Martinez was an associate at a few top notch law firms in the San Francisco/Bay Area, and she practiced primarily civil litigation. In 2008 she decided that it was time to return to the community that positioned her for success. According to Mrs. Martinez, “I am happy to be home, and to reconnect with friends and family.”
In January 2009 Mrs. Martinez opened up her own solo law practice. Mrs. Martinez currently specializes in Estate Planning. For the past three years Mrs. Martinez has been a member of WealthCounsel, which is a distinguished network of estate planning attorneys that network and work together to provide clients with the most advanced estate planning services.
