Patrick Sheaffer

Patrick's creative, flexible approach to architectural problem solving spans architectural design, production and project management to hands-on work with hardware and materials suppliers in the shop and contractors and artists in the field. Patrick's focus on quality assurance as principal designer and production manager with Full Circle Architecture is informed by a background that includes multi-family residential and urban design; housing for seniors, hospitality and day care; single family production and custom residential design; retail, office and light industrial environments; educational and ecclesiastical programs, and master planning of industrial machine shops and technical facilities.

Full Circle's early adoption of green building and holistic sustainability principles grew out of Patrick's combined organizational abilities, systems thinking and attention to detail and craft in construction. 20 years of study in sustainable applications with emphases on durability, energy efficiency, social factors and indoor air quality have translated to specifying, consulting, and teaching green building applications in the studio, in the field and in the classroom.
