The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy is dedicated to serving the people and communities of the Perkiomen Watershed by conserving and protecting land and water resources through commitment to and leadership in environmental education, watershed stewardship, and conservation programs.


The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy will enable the Perkiomen Watershed community to recognize and support the connections between land and water resources, quality of life, and the economic prosperity of our communities.

Core Organizational Philosophies

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy will be guided by a few core organizational philosophies which will direct our efforts in support of the long-term watershed vision.

1. Respect natural resources of the watershed that support healthy and clean water.
2. Advocate mindful, sustainable use of land and water resources through education, demonstration and leadership.
3. Promote the use of sound science to guide the understanding, use, protection and restoration of the watershed.
4. Encourage individuals, families, businesses, civic organizations, educators and government leaders to find meaningful and sustainable connections to the Perkiomen Creek and its tributaries.
