Texas Land Conservancyupdated: August 2014

Texas Land Conservancy works with private landowners to conserve properties that contain wildlife habitat, with unique ecological characteristics, or represent undisturbed eco-types. TLC's conserved lands protect freshwater swamps, bottomland forests, native prairies, cypress-lined bayous, Hill Country canyons, South Texas brush, and desert grasslands.

What We Do
From the East Texas Pineywoods to the Trans-Pecos of West Texas, and from the Panhandle to the Rio Grande Valley, Texas is unparalleled in beauty and unique landscapes. Yet, Texas is losing over 200,000 acres of open space yearly. However, there is a solution...

Texas Land Conservancy, along with other land trusts in Texas, is working to conserve our vanishing landscape. With the help of our supporters and partners, we are making meaningful progress conserving thousands of acres of open space with conservation easements, the purchase of development rights, and outright acquisition of lands. But, we need your help. Please consider joining or donating in order to help us conserve our heritage for future generations.
