Third Generation Outfitters, LLC

Our Horses, Our Business, Our Way of Life...

In the late 1800's the Bramwell family traveled by covered wagon and found settlement in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. They worked draft horse teams for logging and saddle horses for cattle and ranching.  In 1948 outfitting became popular and Floyd Bramwell supported his family by packing hunters into the mountains.  Five generations later Forest Bramwell and his wife Jaclyn follow in the family's footsteps.

Forest grew up working as an outfitter and guide for his parents Gary and Faye Bramwell and their business Astraddle A Saddle. He left home for 15 years following a childhood dream that led to a prosperous rodeo career and five Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifications as a top 15 bareback bronc rider in the world.  In 2008 after retiring from rodeo, he bought the outfitting business from his parents.

Jaclyn, also raised in Pagosa, grew up showing and riding english and western pleasure horses.  She worked as a wrangler for the Bramwells guiding horseback rides and waitressing dinner rides as a summer job.  Her love for horses led her to pursue an equine science degree at SCC in Arizona.  She returned home to marry Forest in 2011 and continue her goal of working in the equine industry. Together Forest & Jaclyn Bramwell Own and operate Third Generation Outfitters the oldest family horse concession in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
