Tinicum Conservancy

The Tinicum Conservancy, located in bucolic Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to protecting our rural character and natural resources through community-based land conservation.

The Bucks County-based, conservation group works with conservation-minded landowners and local government agencies to secure conservation easements. These agreements permanently limit further development, while conserving the natural resources, agricultural and open space values of the property. In return, the landowner receives financial compensation through a tax deduction, cash payment or a combination of both.

The Tinicum Conservancy, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, was formed in 1992 and holds 69 conservation easements, covering more than 3,600 acres. Its operations and programs are supported solely by donations from individual donors and several private foundations.
