Weantinoge Heritage Land Trustupdated: September 2016

Since our founding in 1965, Weantinoge has been dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural environment and the region’s working farmland, while also providing children and families with enriching opportunities to learn about and experience the natural world. We permanently protect more than 9,700 acres in 17 communities. Our properties include wildlife sanctuaries, 15 working farms, and 12 nature preserves open to the public with more than 15 miles hiking trails.

Mission
to protect and restore the region’s natural areas, fish and wildlife, and working farmland. Safeguarding the land, air, and water, will ensure we always have places to hike, bike, boat, fish, hunt, see wildlife, or enjoy the quiet and peace of nature. As well as have places that can provide locally-grown foods.
