West Central Ohio Land Conservancyupdated: October 2010

The WCOLC is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that actively works to conserve land by undertaking or assisting in land or conservation easement acquisition, or by its stewardship of such land or easements.

We are an independent, grass-roots, organization that works with private landowners interested in protecting open space. We cooperate with governmental agencies by acquiring or managing land, researching open space needs, and assisting in the development of open space plans.

The main purpose of the WCOLC is to protect land that has natural, recreational, scenic, historic, or productive value including farmland, forests, historic sites, riparian corridors, etc.
