Western Reserve Land Conservancyupdated: October 2016

Mission
To provide the people of our region with essential natural assets through land conservation and restoration.

Western Reserve Land Conservancy is a nonprofit with a focus on land, people and community. We’re a conservation organization that works with landowners, communities, government agencies, park systems and other nonprofit organizations to permanently protect natural areas and farmland. Our primary tool is the conservation easement, which allows property owners to permanently preserve their land without surrendering ownership. This protection remains with the land, even if it is sold. Once a property is permanently preserved with a conservation easement, it is our job to ensure it remains protected.
