Preferred Provider ProgramWoodie Wheaton Land Trust

The Woodie Wheaton Land Trust (WWLT), in partnership with the New England Forestry Foundation, have nearly achieved the ambitious effort to preserve over fifty miles of unspoiled shoreline along Spednic Lake and the St. Croix River. WWLT raised over $100,000 toward the project in 2002 from 220 families, individuals and local organizations. In late December, the Purchase Option was extended several months to complete fundraising for the project. We are grateful to the many lodge guests who contributed to this effort.
