 CONSERVATION PARTNERS LLC

Mr. Maurer has focused on land conservation as a professional planner since 1981.  He has worked in county government and for non-profit organizations, including: planner for the Jefferson County, Colorado Open Space Department; senior planner directing the Environmental Planning Division of Charles County, Maryland; senior planner for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and director of planning for the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy.  He has extensive experience in: project development and management; consultant management; environmental inventories, assessments, and impact analyses; policy analysis; master plan development; and grants solicitation and management.  Mr. Maurer possesses a Master of Science from Penn State University with an emphasis in open space planning and a Bachelor of Arts from Kutztown State University with a major in biology.  He is a technical service provider as certified by the USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service.
